We strive to deliver positive benefits for Windarring and the community as a whole.

Our main collection hub for recycling is located at the Windarring site on Rohs Road in Bendigo. Collection bins are conveniently placed across Bendigo, Castlemaine, and Kyneton. Our dedicated employees with disabilities sort the clothes and bric-a-brac that are collected, which are then sold to our partner in Melbourne, Southern Cross Recycling. Through this process, our employees gain valuable skills, from driving vehicles to using pallet jacks and packing items for sale.

When you shop at Windarring Recycled Op Shop, all proceeds go towards supporting our wonderful programs. We are committed to empowering people with disabilities and helping them through the transition process, providing the necessary supports for them to live their lives to the fullest. Whether it's learning life skills, gaining independence, getting involved in the community, training for a job, or improving health and well-being, Windarring is here to support every step of the way.

We are excited to introduce you to our fabulous Crafty Bag Lady, Sue! Sue has her very own micro-business, creating upcycled and re-purposed bags made from old chook feeder bags. Her creativity and talent shine through in each unique piece.

In addition to our Golden Square location, we also have the Bendigo Windarring Emporium/Recycle Shop located at 1 Fir St Golden Square (Old YCW clubrooms) and the Castlemaine Emporium at 317 Barker Street, Castlemaine. Our Retail Store is open five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
