We have vulnerable children and if commuication is agressive invoicing ($6000 all paid over 6 months) and seems out of balance with reports (nothing until I sent a demand letter) and feedback is difficult, try for a second opinion. It's the best thing we ever did. Happy child, happy parents and a more holistic approach elsewhere has worked wonders. The 2 stars are for the two reception staff who came and left during that period."
"It's your child - don't settle. I don't believe that fancy consult rooms and high hourly rates are a substitute for treatment that lacks insight and attention - compounded by what often seemed to be over extended staff. Focus less on the $ clock and more on providing relevant support for those families and children that truly need the assistance. We often come to you for support not yet accessible through public services whilst we desperately try to better understand the issues affecting our children. Having expensive therapies suggested within the first few sessions without truly understanding your patient seems premature and inconsiderate. For our family to leave your practise after 8 months and then very quickly thereafter receive a public assessment that deems your child as a priority for the DHB & other support services, leaves me feeling like your services failed us. But hey - the rooms are pretty."
