St Benedict's School

Welcome to St Benedict's School, located at 50 Nicholson Road, Wellington, New Zealand. Our institution is not just an establishment or a point of interest, but a school that is dedicated to developing the minds and guiding the hearts of our children.

At St Benedict's, we believe in the importance of physical education and sports. That's why we offer Kelly Sports Athletics for students in rooms 6, 7, 1, 12, and 13. These students are required to wear their sports uniform during these activities. For students in room 8-9, we also offer Kelly Sports Athletics, and they too are required to wear their sports uniform. Additionally, we provide Kelly Sports Gymnastics for the Manuka Syndicate, where sports non-uniform is allowed.

We understand the significance of technology education in today's world. Therefore, our year seven and eight students attend Technology education at Mt Cook School. It is expected that they wear closed toe shoes during these classes.

We are thrilled to announce that St Benedict's has been invited to participate in the Capital Football Futsal Tournament at Akau Tangi Sports Center (formerly known as ASB Centre) on the 12th, 13th, and 14th of September. This exciting opportunity is available for all year levels. Year 1/2 students will participate on Tuesday, the 12th, Year 3/4 on either the 12th or 13th, Year 5/6 on either the 13th or 14th, and Year 7/8 on the 14th. To register your child for this sports event, please fill out the appropriate form below (Year 1-4; Year 5-6; Year 7-8). However, please note that we are limited to 2 teams per year group, and entries close on the 20th of June. Late entries will not be accommodated. More information regarding the tournament will be provided closer to the event.
