Welcome to Family Therapy Collective, located in Auckland, New Zealand. We understand that all families can face difficulties that can impact the well-being of individual members, couples, or the entire family unit. These challenges can often lead to significant mental distress and suffering, making everyday life a struggle.
As experienced Mental Health clinicians, we have worked extensively with complex mental health presentations, providing support to families, children, teenagers, and couples. At Family Therapy Collective, we firmly believe that involving all members of the family is crucial in bringing about the necessary changes to reduce distress and suffering.
Family Therapy is a unique form of intervention that aims to improve communication within your family and seek solutions to current challenges. We understand that this type of therapy can sometimes feel unfamiliar and challenging, but we are here to guide you through the process.
Our goal is to help your family and couple relationships thrive by creating better functioning and healthier connections. Our team consists of highly qualified Family Therapists and Occupational Therapists who have extensive experience working in mental health services with families, children, adolescents, and adults.
As practitioners, we are passionate about collaborating with our clients to support community well-being while advocating for diversity and inclusion. We have a deep understanding of the importance of early intervention and sustainable systemic change.
Our therapists hold various qualifications, including Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, PD Cert Health Science in Family and Systems Therapy, BA in Psychology, PGDip in Social & Community work, PGDip Education in Counselling & Guidance, and Cert in Systemic Practice & Family Therapy.
