St Catherine's College

Welcome to St Catherine's College, a renowned establishment located at Wellington, Upper Bourke Street in New Zealand. Founded in 1950 by the Sisters of Mercy, our college has a rich history and a strong commitment to providing quality education. In 1975, we integrated into the State School system under the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act.

At St Catherine's, we pride ourselves on our intimate school size, which fosters a family atmosphere and a deep sense of belonging and community among our students. We follow the vision of Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, and educate our girls based on Catholic social teachings that form the Special Character of our college.
