"I went to Unichem for a blood pressure test and was really impressed by their friendly and caring professional service. I had my readings explained to me by a pharmacist and told results would be sent to my doctor. They also deliver our medication to our retirement village for free. I thoroughly recommend Unichem Petone"
"Unichem Petone has been my local pharmacy for many years. Every time I've been they've always been proactive to offer their advice and wonderful customer service. Once when I went to pick up a prescription, they didn't have the usual subsidised option available. The pharmacist apologised and explained that he had rang around nearby pharmacies to try to get some stock in for me but wasn't able to source any nearby. I was impressed by his proactive approach and didn't mind paying for the option available. Thanks team – it's always a pleasure coming in to shop with you!"
"So my mum wanted to post something off to me they gave her tracking information and charged her for them to not actually scan the postage number into the system been on mute with them for 28 minutes. Rude unprofessional. They are also putting their prices up in July. I've never seen a pharmacy/post shop so I'll prepared and unprofessional. If I could give a half a star I would"
"I’ve regularly struggled to have my prescription filled here in a timely manner. The pharmacy receives my prescription but then usually doesn’t make it up until I go in, even though I would expect it to be made up after clicking in the online form when I’d like to pick it up a few days later. Then I go into store, it’s not made up and sometimes they ask me to come back so I come back at least an hour, sometimes a day later and it’s still not made and they haven’t started it. Today I went in and it was not ready again. The prescription was delivered Tuesday to the pharmacy and I came in Saturday morning to pick it, it was not ready. They asked me if I wanted to wait or come back later, I said I would wait for the 15 minutes and the intern pharmacist has so far spent 15 of the last 20 minutes serving other people. Then another pharmacist asked me if I had been served. I told them I was waiting and she went and checked and said it was a big script. That’s true, but it’s very hard to fill a big script if you’re never actually working on it. I wish this pharmacy could fill scripts more efficiently, I shouldn’t have to wait for days or hours and things don’t get filled, especially when you have reduced weekend hours."
"I never post reviews but I feel like this one has really disappointed me. The last time the lady at the postal service wasn't the nicest , I understand everyone has bad days but she refused to hold my parcel because it wasn't Friday for a Saturday delivery and wanted me to take it home and come back the next day. The manager stepped in and was lovely and took it over and ended up leaving my parcel there. Every time now I go to buy Saturday delivery stickers it is a issue that my parcel won't get picked up till Friday. I avoid going to the life pharmacy post and try go to the Petone NZ post and the Alice town dairy, before having to interact with the lady in life pharmacy. It just happens every time only the life pharmacy always have Saturday stickers. I have my own business and use Eship portal through NZ post so feel like I have an understanding of NZ post postal services. I got told yesterday that Liz has had 20 years or something experience and has worked for NZ post previously. Collection of Saturday delivery parcels earlier than Friday is not in NZ post policy. I have never had an issue with collection earlier than Friday from any other postal shop. I have been told multiple times Saturday delivery is not a guaranteed service and to get your parcel to ensure it is there by Saturday for religions other than wellington it is advised to get it in earlier. I attach Saturday delivery stickers to add extra chances of my parcels getting delivered on time, adding the extra day of Saturday. As NZ post do not deliver overnight upgrades on Saturday.. Even with overnight upgraded courier it is risky with NZ post as I have seen the 100s of parcels from my business being sent out using NZ post. I rang NZ post yesterday to clarify my understanding so I know the right information and they said that collection of Saturday stickered post can happen earlier and that is not right that it is held till Friday. There is nothing on their website that justifies pickup can't happen earlier."
