Our 50ft vessel, 'Seafarer II', allows us to provide thrilling fishing experiences for both locals and visitors.

For those seeking an adventure, our full-day trips take you out into the deep-water canyons to target bass, blue nose, and hapuka. These trips offer an exciting and memorable experience. Additionally, we have the opportunity to target tarakihi, kingfish, and blue cod during these trips.

If you prefer inshore fishing, we also offer trips to Wellington's south coast areas or the Mana coasts. These trips allow you to fish for tarakihi, blue cod, kingfish, snapper, and other species in calm waters, making them perfect for families, kids, and groups.

For an incredible fishing adventure closer to home, we organize multi-day trips to the Marlborough Sounds and D'Urville Island. Whether it's giant blue cod, tarakihi, groper, snapper, or kingfish, these locations offer a wide variety of fishing options. We usually offer 3-4 day trips to D'Urville Island, staying at the D'Urville Wilderness Resort, and 2 day trips to the Marlborough Sounds, staying at Furneaux Lodge. However, we can customize these trips to suit your group's preferences. Additionally, the hunting and diving opportunities in these areas are exceptional.

Our private charters are available for full-day, six-hour, and four-hour trips, with prices ranging from $1,800 to $2,800. These prices include a BBQ meal for all passengers, as well as tackle hire. For those who want to join with others, we also offer weekly share-cost trips. These trips include all necessary fishing gear and a BBQ meal. It's a great way to meet fellow fishing enthusiasts and enjoy a day out on the water.

Our vessel, 'Seafarer II', was originally a cray fishing boat but has been converted to suit our charter fishing operation. We are in survey with Maritime New Zealand for 20 passengers, ensuring a safe and enjoyable trip. Our crew is skilled, trained, and knowledgeable, ready to assist you throughout your fishing experience.

We provide quality Shimano fishing gear, with both manual and electric sets available for hire. Our home base is Seaview Marina in Wellington Harbour, but we also operate from Mana Marina depending on weather conditions. We can also pick up groups from Chaffers Marina and Evans Bay Marina, offering convenience and flexibility for our customers.
