Welcome to Your Wise Counselling, located in Golden Square on High Street. We are an establishment dedicated to providing health services and are a point of interest in the community.

At Your Wise Counselling, you will find Marley, your caring and attentive Counsellor, who has over 19 years of experience in the Aged, Disability, and Mental Health Services Sector. Marley is passionate about understanding your unique perspective and listening to your needs and desires. With Marley's guidance, you will embark on a journey of self-exploration and discovery, filled with newfound motivation and passion.

Throughout Marley's career, she has had the privilege of meeting individuals from all walks of life, enriching both her personal and professional development. She has worked with people in nursing homes, individuals with differing abilities, and even those within the Victorian prison system. Marley has also co-facilitated men's behavior change programs, helping participants understand the impact of abusive communication styles and traumas on themselves and others. Her experience as a Financial Counsellor has allowed her to support individuals facing mental health challenges due to financial distress or gambling addictions.

Marley's qualifications include a Master of Social Work, Bachelor of Human Services, Diploma of Financial Counselling, Diploma of Counselling, and Cert IV Disability. She is also trained in EFT-Tapping and EMDR. Marley is a member of various professional associations, including the Australian Association of Social Workers, Australian Counselling Association, and Financial Counselling Victoria.

At Your Wise Counselling, we understand that many people dedicate their lives to caring for others, often neglecting their own needs. We provide a safe space for you to explore the origins of your struggles and stressors. When these become overwhelming and you feel out of control, we will help you regain a sense of control and identify your true values in life. By unpacking underlying emotions such as anger, pain, love, or loss, you can break free from being stuck and embark on a new life journey filled with hope.

During your first appointment, we will collect further information to ensure our services are suitable for you. We will also discuss privacy and confidentiality, and if applicable, enter into a Service Agreement. Please note that a 10% GST is added to all service fees except for NDIS clientele. Please also be aware that we do not provide reports for Court, TAC, and VOCAT, but we can provide letters of attended sessions upon request.
