At Mount Rowan, we believe in delivering a comprehensive curriculum that meets the standards and requirements of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 for years 7-10. Our focus on English is central to developing confident communicators, imaginative thinkers, and informed citizens. Through the study of English, our students learn to analyze, understand, communicate, and build relationships with others.

Mathematics is another core subject at Mount Rowan. Students in years 7-10 develop essential skills in fundamental number skills, algebra, measurement and geometry, and statistics and probability. Science is a core subject in years 7-9 at Mount Rowan, covering four main strands: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physics. These formative years provide students with a foundation in scientific knowledge and inquiry.

Health and Physical Education (HAPE) are core subjects in years 7-10, where students develop skills in fundamental motor skills, fitness, athletics, volleyball, gymnastics, and dance. In sport, students have opportunities to engage in friendly competition and foster teamwork.
