At The GP Clinic Bendigo, the health and safety of our community is our utmost priority. Therefore, we kindly request all patients attending a face-to-face consultation to wear a face mask upon entering our clinic. Additionally, all patients will be screened for respiratory symptoms through a questionnaire upon arrival. These measures are in place to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

As a full-service Medical Practice, The GP Clinic Bendigo offers a range of services to cater to your healthcare needs. We have a nurse available to assist you, and we can arrange home visits and aged care visits upon request. Please note that we do not provide an after-hours service.
Please be aware that The GP Clinic Bendigo operates as a private billing medical practice. Most patients will be required to pay an out-of-pocket charge. However, we offer a reduced fee for pensioners, health care card holders, and children. Children aged 6 and under will not incur any out-of-pocket charges. Furthermore, health assessments, GP management plans, and children's vaccinations are provided at no out-of-pocket cost. For DVA card holders, accounts will be directly sent to Veterans Affairs.

"As far as reception staff go the Practice Manager really needs to work on her people skills, she was extremely rude with a very condescending attitude."
"I have been a patient here since they opened but hadn't been for some time due to temporarily moving away from the area. This week I saw Dr Lazarus when I was feeling generally unwell, with cold/flu symptoms (I had tested negative on a R.A.T.), all she did was listen to my chest, look in my ears and take a nasal swab. She didn't ask if I'd had any fevers, nor did she check my temperature, didn't check my throat, or my blood pressure, despite me saying I'd been feeling light headed, and having a terrible cough and sore throat. Add to that, I find the office staff to be impersonable, then I had a follow up telehealth appointment, at the doctor's request, to get the results of the swab test (which confirmed influenza) and I received a bill for it. I have NEVER been charged a private fee for a results appointment at any other clinic before, every other doctor I have ever seen all Bulk Bill for results. This clinic is so greedy, it's ridiculous, and the quality of service certainly did NOT justify the fees."
