About the Business
Welcome to Caffe E Cucina, a charming and authentic Italian eatery located in the heart of Auckland, New Zealand. As you step inside our establishment, you'll be transported to the bustling streets of Italy, where food is not just a meal but a celebration of life.
At Caffe E Cucina, we believe in the power of simplicity and the importance of using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Our skilled chefs handcraft traditional Italian dishes, from homemade pastas like spaghetti, ravioli, and manicotti to rustic wood-fired garlic pizza bread. Each bite is filled with the flavors of Italy, bringing you closer to the essence of this beloved cuisine.
One of the secrets to the deliciousness of Italian food lies in the use of olive oils. Whether it's a simple marinara sauce or a hearty lasagne, tomatoes take center stage in our dishes, infusing them with a burst of freshness. And it's not just tomatoes that add flavor - aromatic basil, roasted garlic, and a variety of cheeses like mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta, and pecorino elevate our dishes to new heights.
Our menu is a tribute to the culinary traditions of Italy, passed down through generations. We take pride in sourcing the best ingredients and preparing them with love and care. Every dish tells a story, and we invite you to be a part of this journey.
Whether you're looking for a quick coffee, a leisurely brunch, or a memorable dinner, Caffe E Cucina is the perfect place to indulge in the tastes of Italy. Our warm and inviting ambiance, attentive staff, and mouthwatering dishes will transport you to Italy without ever leaving Auckland.
Come and experience the true essence of Italian cuisine at Caffe E Cucina. We promise to delight your senses and leave you craving for more. Just ask Nonna, and she'll tell you that our food is as authentic as it gets.

"Very good Steak, salad, Tiramisù, as per pictures. The tiramisù is 18, whereas the 300 gr Steak is 45"
"Ordered delivery, pasta Carbonara, and fish of the day for a birthday treat. Pasta serving was so small, it wasn't even a full meal.. The fish on risotto was overcooked, the risotto was gluggy, it said it had prawns in the risotto, there were 2 small prawns, the fish flavour wasn't good. Disappointing as previous orders were much better quality. The pasta left me feeling hungry, and my husband couldn't eat all of the fish as it was overpowered with garlic. The price being charged $30 and $40, does not match the low quality. Revolting food. You've lost 2 customers."
"Pizza is average, but the sea food pasta, I mean has the chef really tried their own food? The cube fish literally chewing like rubber with salty gravy. My home cooking way better than this 38$."
"They made our Saturday afternoon. A bit late lunch but worth ever. Warm Welcomed. Quiet place around 2.30pm to 3.30pm. A bit confused about menu as heaps options. But we took: lamb rak, spaghetti conberan, and special chicken xxx. Lemonade and bloody orange juice plus API. Yummmmy foods ever. I loved spaghetti perfect. Lam cooked very well. 10 out of 10. Recommended."
"Great food and coffee during weekdays. I was stunned by the fantastic taste of the coffee that I was served, and how beautiful and tasty the egg Benedict the chef made. You can feel every element matched in a magical way in your mouth. The hollandaise sauce was the best I’ve had for years. It has this silky and smooth and creamy texture that a great hollandaise should have. It holds the shape throughout the whole meal. Which was again how it should be but not every restaurant could do. The manager was funny as well. He checked at the right time made us feel welcomed. Try go during the weekdays though. We went there on Saturday again, the coffee was extremely bitter, and the egg Benedict was swimming in the water that came out of the blanched spinach and poached eggs. The hollandaise was terribly made as well. I felt a bit sorry for the food."
