"Food was delicious, nutritious and well priced, pumpkin soup was especially welcome on a chilly day. Polite, smiley and obliging women working there, though decor was a little sparse...a padded bench on one side of the table, while l had to make do with a wooden step-stool on the other side. A very pleasant lunchtime experience, altogether."
"Excellent Cafe. Tea is served in a preheated teapot and cup. Very very few cafes/eateries serve tea properly. Tea must be made with water on the boil not a Tea bag on the saucer allowing the water to cool before it's served. Nor in a flash teapot that is not preheated before adding boiling water and tea is added. I would love to know how barristers are taught to make tea."
"What a great little spot! Great food- my son had pancakes and said they were the second best his ever had!! My husband and I opted for both big breakfast. Coffee was spot on. Only thing I'd change is the bread for big breakfast- add another slice for the two eggs. Other than that- worth the stop! Thank you :)"
