Welcome to the Toowoomba Chinese Language School, located in Centenary Heights, Ramsay Street, 60. We are a non-profit community weekend school dedicated to providing high-quality Chinese language learning opportunities to the local community of Toowoomba, Queensland. Our school aims to blend the best elements of Chinese and Australian culture together, with the belief that learning other languages is fun and rewarding for everyone.

At the Toowoomba Chinese Language School, our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching children in Australia. They have the skills and expertise to deliver Chinese language education in a way that caters to the diverse cultural backgrounds of our students. We are committed to creating a vibrant and supportive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to study Chinese language.

Starting from early 2017, we offer Mandarin Chinese classes to Chinese background students from Pre to Year 12. In the future, we plan to expand our classes to non-Chinese background children and even adults, in response to the community demand.

We are proud to have the support of the overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Additionally, we are a member of the Queensland Chinese Education Association and the only International Chinese test HSK & YCT exam center in the Darling Downs and Toowoomba area.

Currently, we use the "Mandarin Chinese" textbooks provided by the overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China as our basic course. We supplement the teaching of Chinese Pinyin to further develop students' ability to read Chinese.

Our classes are divided into different levels to cater to students of varying proficiency:

- Advanced Chinese Class (Class A): 09:00-12:00am, Saturday

- Intermediate Chinese Class (Class B): 1:00-4:00pm, Saturday

- Junior Chinese Class (Class C): 09:00-12:00am, Saturday

- Customized Chinese Class (Class D): 1:00-2:00pm, Saturday

- Beginner Chinese Class (Class E): 1:00-4:00pm, Saturday

Our principal, Ms. Wu, holds a Master's degree in Communications and has extensive experience in Chinese language education. She is responsible for the daily management of the school and HSK Chinese proficiency test training. Ms. Wu is also a certified HSK examiner and is known for her rigorous, delicate, and lively teaching style.

We also have experienced teachers like Ms. Zhao and Mrs. Deng, who have a deep understanding of Chinese and Western education systems. They are skilled at teaching students with bilingual and English-speaking family backgrounds, and they strive to make learning Chinese enjoyable while imparting knowledge about China's rich history and culture.
