Welcome to Brisbane Junior Theatre (BJT), located at Warner, Coorparoo Road, 1. As an establishment and point of interest, BJT is dedicated to helping young performers in Australia improve their musical and theatrical skills, while also inspiring them to dream big and achieve more.

At BJT, every session and show is led by trained professionals who are actively involved in the industry. This ensures that our performers receive the highest quality training and guidance, allowing them to seamlessly transition from the classroom to professional theatre. Since our establishment in 2001, BJT has proudly produced over 65 high-quality Broadway-based musical theatre shows for young performers.

One of our most popular offerings is our weekly After-School Workshops. These workshops provide a fun and interactive environment where young performers can learn musical theatre songs, dances, scenes, and improvisations. Through these workshops, we aim to cultivate a love for the performing arts and instill confidence in our students.

We are thrilled to share the success stories of our talented performers. For example, Cherami Mya, who made her professional debut as Katie in GWB's Production of School of Rock, had her first taste of musical theatre with Brisbane Junior Theatre in Annie. Additionally, we congratulate Zac and Jack on their published papers in the Fusion Journal, which followed their presentations at the Australian Actors Training Conference at Charles Sturt University.

Exciting news continues to come our way, as Cherami Mya Remulta has been cast in the Korean Touring Company of School of Rock the Musical. This achievement highlights the caliber of talent that is nurtured and developed at Brisbane Junior Theatre.
