"Escape by name, escape by nature. Lovely place, helpful staff, great facilities. Bird feeding is chaotic fun. The possums are as friendly as the staff. Will return."
"Glamping tents were just so well appointed with everything you need for your stay including lovely bathrobes and the claw foot bath was amazing… Appreciated the delivery of fire wood to the tent. Definitely recommend for a indulgent experience bush camping experience."
"Murphys Creek escape is a great bush camp grounds. We had a large spot with our friends on a non powered site close to the bathroom facilities. We enjoyed the archery and bird feeding activities. Top spot. Good value."
"We stayed in the glamping safari tents. Very clean with king bed, comfy mattress, claw footed bath, totally self contained and set upon a ridge overlooking the creek. Secluded and quiet from the rest of the camp grounds. Beautiful location, peaceful and perfect for a romantic weekend away."
"Pro’s: camp grounds are beautiful , with lots if shade. Added bonus was the cheeky possums that visits the campsites in hope for food. Bird life is wonderful. Can buy ice and firewood Bathrooms are practical and clean. Some new paint will be good. I am sure creek must be beautiful when it runs. Cons: Do phone ahead to make sure there’s running water in the creek to swim in. We went when the creek was dry and there was no place to cool down. That takes me to the fish pond that they call an eco pool. I am not fussy and will swim in dams and lakes but the photos on the website is misleading. I am sure that once upon a time it did look like that but not the weekend we were there. It is full of fish and the water was full of algae or fish poop or something. The pathway in the pond had a few extra rocks in which makes it hard to navigate specially because the water is not clear. I think the photos needs to be updated. I will definitely go again if the creek runs or in the colder months."
