Welcome to the AAFCANS Cafe Central Store, located in Holtze, Northern Territory, Australia. As a convenience store and food establishment, we are dedicated to providing high-quality products and services to our customers.

AAFCANS is a not-for-profit organization that has been supporting soldiers and airmen/women since 1915. We are owned by the Army and Air Force and have a strong commitment to serving our military community.

One of our recent achievements is the design and construction of a new mobile amenities vehicle, which has been a valuable addition to the Lavarack Barracks mobile amenities fleet. We are constantly striving to improve our services and embrace technology-driven solutions. Our strategic plan focuses on delivering exceptional service through innovations like app-ordering and online delivery services.

In January 2020, we renovated the interior of our Holsworthy AAFCANS Cafe, creating a modern and comfortable space for our customers. With a relaxed industrial-style ambiance, designer lighting, and reclaimed timber features, our cafe provides the perfect setting to enjoy our gourmet coffee, new tea range, and delicious food offerings. We have also added soft furnishings, casual dining tables, and entertainment options like board games and books for our guests' enjoyment.

We are proud to contribute to the welfare of our military community. In the 2018/2019 financial year, AAFCANS donated over $534,985.22 to Air Force and Army welfare through our automated retail vending program. Our top recipients were RAAF Base Williamtown, RAAF Base Edinburgh, and RAAF Base Darwin.

At AAFCANS, we prioritize supporting local businesses. We have partnered with Beraldo Coffee, a veteran-owned coffee supplier based in Melbourne. Their locally roasted coffee is available at all our coffee outlets on 26 ADF bases. Beraldo Coffee also provides professional barista training for our cafe team.

Our network of food services extends across 30 Army and Air Force bases and ADF facilities throughout Australia. We offer a variety of facilities, including canteens, kiosks, a tavern, and a bistro, all designed to meet the specific needs of our soldiers, airmen/women, and base residents. We also have a fleet of mobile amenities vehicles that can provide food and refreshments on the move.

In addition to our food services, we offer various other amenities on base, such as barbers, hairdressers, post offices, and clothing retailers. These services are provided by our licensed agents.

When you support AAFCANS by using our branded vending machines, you are directly contributing to your base's welfare. We disburse profits from our vending program to Defense welfare funds on the bases where the profits were generated.
