"I am always treated with respect and kindness from Dr Lal, Dr Hepple and the crew at SRT ( Laura, Leanne and Phil, and Kira). They all compliment eachother well eg Laura is no nonsense but has a sense of humour, Leanne is compassionate, Kira is a Motivator and friendly, and Phil is humorous. I also previously gained alot through Art Therapy with Michelle, and previous input from Theresa the Psychologist when I was first in crisis. Special shout out to the Duty Officer, Phil. Everyone in this service has literally been life saving and I certainly would never take this service for granted!"
"If I could give negative one star, I would. My appointments with Dr Hepple (the name really should be Dr Hassle) have been canceled within hours, on the day of, for two weeks in a row now. EDIT:SHE HAS NOW CANCELLED ON ME THREE WEEKS IN A ROW. It will be nearly 2months before I see her again, provided she does cancel AGAIN) I rely on family and friends to get there, so everyone’s time has been for naught.I was on a titrated reduction of medication in order to switch to another, yet it will have been longer than a month since I’ve even spoken to a doctor (considering they don’t cancel again) before I even see anyone regarding this at my next appointment. Previous instructions were vague and incorrect regarding dose reductions. Go elsewhere, or request not to see Dr Hassle, because she is the exact definition of nominative determinism. EDIT TWO: the response to this asked me to call the liaison office to give feedback and make a complaint. They said they can’t do this over the phone. Pro tip- if your organisation fails it’s patients greatly three times in a row, give the consumer the right information, or you just look more inept than you already do."
"Don't be fooled by the low stars. Often people will only review when they have something bad to say. I was referred here straight from my birthing hospital, and despite I had to go on a waiting list, I had fortnightly check ins with Dr Thin to ensure my medication was okay. Bek was also checking in on me weekly as well as always being available for me to call and chat if needed. Everyone's personal circumstances are different, but at this time the support I got was all I needed, so I'm satisfied with my care."
"I have been chronically anxious and depressed and had waited for an appointment for a long time, I finally got one, 4th August, just hold on another 10 days and I can get help. Day finally came, had just left the house when they called to cancel, dr was sick, that can’t be helped. They would call back to reschedule. 25 August, I didn’t realise my depression could get worse but here’s proof it can. As easy as it is, I can’t blame them, this is government funded, they are over worked, understaffed and underpaid because still mental health doesn’t get enough funding. So really my gripe is with the mental health commissioner, Jennifer McGrath, an accountant with a bachelor of commerce. Clearly from her qualifications she has a true understanding of the importance of mental health."
"My beloved husband is dead because of the “care” that was denied over several years and crisis’s. The most unknowledgeable, discompassionate, careless, pathetic team of mental “health care” individuals I’ve ever encountered. So my husband is dead & you can celebrate that your aim was achieved. A special mention to Phil who on a few occasion I begged for help and his puerile, unprofessional and uncaring attitude cost us everything. Our finances, reputation, and finally his life. Move area if you must or prepare to stay ill and suffer needlessly."
