She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the renowned University of New South Wales and began her oncology career at Singapore's National Cancer Centre and National University Hospital in 2009. Dr Tiong then pursued specialist training in radiation oncology at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney and The Canberra Hospital, earning fellowship to the prestigious Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2015. To further enhance her skills, she also completed a specialist fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

Dr Tiong is well-versed in advanced techniques such as stereotactic radiation therapy (SRS/SABR) with intrafraction tracking, MRI simulation, and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). She played a pivotal role in bringing these cutting-edge techniques to Icon Cancer Centre Midland and Rockingham, ensuring that our patients have access to the latest advancements in radiation oncology.

In addition to her expertise, Dr Tiong is proficient in English and can communicate fluently in Mandarin and Malay. She is dedicated to working with patients in their preferred language, ensuring effective communication and personalized care. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of solid tumor malignancies, with a particular clinical interest in prostate cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and lymphoma.
