"I popped in to look for a pair of earrings for a very special occasion, I did not feel very welcome or special, more like I was interrupting the ladies chat. Everything seemed to be begrudged "oh well, you CAN try them on, I'll sterilize them, we aren't supposed to due to hygiene". Really? nearly $600 for a pair of earrings and I should feel privileged to even be allowed to try on? And taking a picture of something was also "Allowed" instead of it being ignored politely, given it's just part of the modern world - you want to send your sister a picture or whatever. Their jewellery was lovely and they had many things I liked, but I've never liked to give people my business when they seem not to want it. If you wish to be taken care of, and have your business valued, there are other jewellery stores nearby that will serve you better."
