Welcome to PAWS Darwin Community Vet Clinic, located at 77 Winnellie Road in Winnellie, Australia. As a not-for-profit veterinary clinic, our mission is to provide affordable and accessible veterinary care to animals and families in the Top End region.

At PAWS Darwin Community Vet, we understand the strong bond between animals and humans and the positive impact it can have on our physical and mental health. That's why we strive to support animals staying with their owners by offering discounts to concession cardholders. Our goal is to ensure that animals can receive the necessary care with their current owners, rather than being euthanized or surrendered due to unaffordable costs. We accept basic cards and can also arrange payment plans if needed.

In addition to serving individual pet owners, we provide essential veterinary services to two animal shelters in the Top End: PAWS Darwin and A Safe Place for Meow. Our services include desexing, vaccinations, microchipping, worming, flea and tick treatment. We also offer more extensive treatment for shelter animals with injuries or diseases, ensuring they receive the care they need before finding their forever homes. By involving veterinary care throughout the rehoming process, we can identify ongoing diseases and establish management strategies for new owners prior to adoption, ensuring the best ongoing care for these animals.

We are proud to collaborate closely with Darwin Wildlife Sanctuary and Wildcare Inc to provide care and treatment for our unique Top End wildlife. Our clinic accepts drop-offs of injured wildlife from the public and has a dedicated wildlife ward to provide a safe, quiet, and stress-free environment for these patients. Our experienced vets and nurses are committed to providing the best medical and surgical care for all wildlife.

Furthermore, we work closely with NT Animal Welfare Officers to provide welfare care and assessments, advice, guidance, and veterinary care to animals brought in by these officers.
