"Lots nice food stalls to eat from pleanty of clothes stores Also lots of fresh veg produce but a bit dear"
"Went to see the Glover Art Awards and the Evandale markets were on. Huge interesting markets mostly in the shade. Great venue, food and homewares as well."
"Fantastic market experience. Everything from fruit and vegetables to eclectic bric-a-brac. Coffee and food stalls. Unpretentious market, the best we have been to in recent years. 50 cent entrance fee with $2 parking further down the road."
"Delightful and diverse market. We parked for $2 and there was plenty of space for our motorhome. There are some handicapped spaces right inside the paid entrance parking too. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, including some of the most plump and flavourful cherries and strawberries we’ve had. We picked up plums, apricots, and blueberries too. Lots of takeaway food options ranging from hot Lebanese food to almond croissants. Loved the handmade goods available all at reasonable prices. We picked up a set of wooden rainbow sorting sets and an imaginative flower from the most delightful woman and her daughters. Picked up an apron in a style that I know I’ll end up wearing as a dress over simple clothes with a divine Australian flower patterned fabric from a woman named Sylvia. Picked up a wide brim swim hat for our 7 year old handmade by Amanda that even has the thoughtful wind strap to keep it secure. Browsing the used clothing yielded fantastic results and I was lucky enough to purchase 2 silk dresses that fit wonderfully. Overall a fantastic market and one we would make a point to visit in the future."
"Very good market, just no puppies allowed. Reason is they have pony rides through the market. My haul - $17 cherry pie - amazing fruit, no added sugar, pasty thin and flakey. Yumm. Honey - Buckwheat $10 grainy, but creamy honey was perfect. Loved the leather/taxidermy stall. Def worth a visit. Was looking for a bunch of lavender flowers. Couldn’t find any flower stalls. Lovely town, tight streets for parking. $2 market parking. $8.50 for awesome sourdough seeded cob loaf in town. Pub open for lunch n live music"
