"I had my Holden Trailblazer/Colorado gearbox serviced here in May. Bailey was very polite and helpful over the phone and in person. The service price seemed reasonable and competitive. I did offer to take staff for a drive to demonstrate an unusual sound/vibration I could detect but unlike some other previous customers I was declined. I also asked for photos or samples of the transmission fluid and parts upon car pickup, but they didn’t offer. Instead they assured me it’s colour was deep red, but not burnt and that the fluid, filter and magnets were clean with only a little tarnish on bottom of the pan. The service included replacing the filter, pan gasket, cleaning the magnets, refill with fluid and a tube of Instant Shudder Fixx to help counteract any torque converter shudder these gearboxes are known for. I wasn’t shown any old parts like I asked, so can only assume the service was done with quality replacement components and the correct specification fluid. Fingers crossed I get another 40000-50000km before the next service, coz I have a 3 month caravan tow coming up mid-2024."
