"The food was absolutely amazing. The only reason 4 and not 5 stars is that the portion sizes are quite small for the price you pay if you compare to similar establishments like The Federal. Will definitely come back regardless. Notice the good change in staff interactions from the last visit as well, where the girls were a bit rude."

"My first visit and turned out to be an absolutely delightful experience. I was there with another family, kids included, and we all had a splendid evening. The service we received was impeccably professional, yet warm and friendly. Our server for the evening, a wonderfully kind and patient lady, truly went above and beyond in taking our orders, her attention to detail leaving an indelible impression on us. She handled our group and our individual requests with a grace and professionalism that stood out and truly enhanced our dining experience. Among the various culinary delights we ordered, I personally tried the dry-aged steak. The steak was a revelation, packed with flavour and cooked precisely to my preference. It was served with a side of fluffy mashed potatoes, a delightful pairing that greatly enhanced the taste of the main dish. The ambiance, the service, and above all, the food at Spotted Cow were all phenomenal. Our visit was a memorable one and we left the restaurant with our hearts full and our palates satisfied. I would like to express my gratitude to the team for making our evening so enjoyable. I cannot wait to return and sample more from your delightful menu."

"I have come here once before and had a 5 star experience! My second time attending, the service was great, but the food was below the standard I had recently experienced. The first time I dined the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. On my most recent occasion I ordered my steak ‘medium rare’ but it was cooked medium well. The chips I received also seemed they’d been sitting a while. For a $50+ meal I would expect items to be cooked to order / not made in large batches and sat on the counter. Although the few hiccups the experience is definitely worthwhile, the seasonal vegetables were cooked amazing and the flavours of the meat were exactly what you’d wish from a $50 plate. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!"
