"Bought a gift card without realising it was only redeemable at the Toowoomba store. The gift card was for a friend on the Sunshine Coast. I called up and was offered no help and no return option. It would be helpful in the future for the employees to communicate that gift cards are only redeemable in the store they are bought from as this is not usual for gift cards. ADDING ON: Thank you to ringers western who contacted me to sort the situation out and hopefully my bad experience can help improve others.
