About Seawalker Green Island
Welcome to Seawalker Green Island, the ultimate destination for an unforgettable underwater adventure on the Great Barrier Reef! Located on the stunning Green Island in Queensland, Cairns Regional, our establishment offers a unique and exciting experience that allows you to walk on the sea floor surrounded by vibrant tropical fish and corals.
Unlike traditional diving experiences, Seawalker Helmet Dive Tour requires no equipment or swimming skills, making it accessible to almost everyone. Whether you're an experienced diver or a non-swimmer, you can immerse yourself in the marine wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef and discover the underwater world from a different perspective.
Upon arrival, our friendly staff will guide you through the necessary paperwork and help you choose the most suitable time for your adventure. Before descending to the seafloor, you'll receive a safety briefing and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Our professionally trained instructors will ensure your comfort and safety throughout the experience.
As you descend to a depth of five meters, you'll be amazed by the beauty of the coral and the abundance of fish surrounding you. Keep an eye out for the famous "Gavin," the photobombing parrotfish, and capture incredible memories with our professional photographer.
Seawalker is an optional activity available with Great Adventures' Green Island cruises. To reach Green Island, you'll embark on a 45-minute journey aboard one of Great Adventures' fast catamarans, departing from Cairns. The warm waters of Tropical North Queensland provide year-round comfort for water activities, and our complimentary wet suits ensure your warmth during cooler months.
Please note that Seawalker requires a minimum age of 12 years old, and participants must pass a medical questionnaire. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, you are not allowed to bring your own camera underwater. However, our professional photographer will capture your incredible moments, and you can purchase the photos as a keepsake.
At Seawalker Green Island, we prioritize your safety and satisfaction. We hold Advanced Ecotourism Certification and have been recognized with the Queensland Tourism Awards "Adventure Tourism" Award. Our limited daily spaces fill up quickly, so we recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. However, if availability allows, you can also book onboard your Great Adventures cruise or at the Island Dive Shop.
If you have any further questions or need additional information, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to ensure you have the best possible experience exploring the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Join us at Seawalker Green Island and create memories that will last a lifetime!

Reviews of Seawalker Green Island
"Wow, what an experience. Well worth every cent. Put this on your bucket list."
"Booked the Sea Walker experience [a lot of these reviews seem to be about the island itself, not the Sea Walker] as part of the Great Adventures ferry ticket, and without a doubt one of the best things I've ever done. Staff were all really friendly and keen to make it an enjoyable visit. I was taken aback at the number of fish we saw in the reef - I didn't quite believe the photos that use in the promotional material, but there really is a mass of fish right in front of your face at times. We got to see about half a dozen clown fish, and the giant clam was astounding. The helmet is heavy, but easy to wear and breathing in it was far easier than I expected. All in all an absolutely unforgettable experience."
"Very nice island, people should visit here once"
"Very good for seeing fishes via snorkelling"
"Very beautiful view, they have ice cream, coral, even a rastraunt"
