Welcome to Little Learning League, a premier establishment and point of interest located in Douglas, Riverside Boulevard, 55, in beautiful Townsville, Australia. At Little Learning League, we are dedicated to providing children with a unique and fun learning experience in a safe and supportive environment.

Our institution is proud to deliver quality learning sessions that are developed and delivered by fully qualified and registered teachers. Our goal is to provide fun learning opportunities for children while helping to improve their fine and gross motor skills, communication and language development, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, we aim to foster new interests and build friendships among our little learners.

Our 60-minute classes have been thoughtfully designed with a specific learning intention to help your child develop their fine and gross motor skills. These classes also integrate multiple senses at once, utilizing various areas of the brain. Each session is themed with something new to keep little ones engaged and excited. These themes are related to children's current interests and are all linked to real-world connections, catering to different learning styles.

Our Sensory Exploration classes take place at Riverside Gardens Community Centre on Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am. We offer various payment options to suit your needs, including upfront membership at $200 (saving you 10%), membership on weekly direct debit at $22, or a Casual Class Pass at $30. We also provide a siblings discount for families bringing along more than one child.

When attending our classes, we encourage you and your little learner to dress comfortably. For our Sensory Exploration class, it's best to wear something you don't mind getting messy in. We provide a wash-up station at the end of the class, but some members find it helpful to bring along a spare change of clothes and a wet bag for their child. Bringing a snack for after class is also a great idea, as all the fun and learning can work up an appetite.

Please note that due to hire charges, materials costs, staffing, and preparation time, we are unable to offer refunds. However, depending on availability, we may be able to swap you to an alternative class. Please notify us as early as possible of your absence and if you would like to try and swap to another day.

Rest assured, all materials used in our classes are non-toxic and prepared and stored following food safe practices. These materials are taste safe, meaning they are safe for your child to mouth, but they are not intended to be consumed in large quantities. On occasion, we may use non-edible items to allow your child to fully experience a variety of sensory materials. Please inform us of any allergies or intolerances prior to attending the class.

In addition to our classes, Little Learning League also offers school and daycare incursions, where we bring the fun to you! Please message us for a quote. Furthermore, you can purchase our take-home scented rice packs, which include colored rice, play figurines, and various materials for creating fun small-world play scenes. We also offer custom-designed scented playdough kits that can be tailored to your preferences. Each session has an individual theme and different activities to create unique learning environments. This allows your child to explore their world through sensory play and build nerve connections in the brain's pathways, enhancing brain development.

Our sessions also provide you with a safe space to connect with like-minded parents and build new friendships for both you and your little one. Additionally, you can continue the play at home with our take-home sensory packs, available for purchase at each session. These packs cater to a variety of interests, including construction, fairies, mermaids, dinosaurs, and more.
