Additionally, our students actively engage in swimming, tennis lessons, the Adopt-a-Cowboy Program, and invigorating P.E. lessons, promoting physical fitness and overall well-being.

We are proud to introduce "Little Maggies," a school-run and directed program that meets every Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:45am. Open to babies and Pre-Prep children, this program promotes early childhood development and requires the presence of parents and caregivers.

Experience the wonders of our Centenary Plot, an outdoor learning area established in 1990. This beautiful space is adorned with native trees, attracting native bird and animal life. It also features a yarning circle, offering students a serene environment for learning and reflection.

To broaden their horizons, our students have the opportunity to participate in camp experiences during Years 5 and 6, fostering independence and teamwork. Additionally, throughout the year, we organize various excursions to enhance curriculum knowledge, all made possible through the generous support of our incredible P&C.

Situated just 40km west of Townsville, off the Flinders Hwy, Woodstock State School is a small and caring country school with a student enrollment of 48. Our students come from Toonpan to Reid River, extending out to Majors Creek. With multi-aged classes, we embody our school motto of "Each Day Brings a Chance to Do Better."

Our vibrant school community actively participates in various events and activities, including sports day, under 8's day, swimming carnivals, and exciting excursions. The P&C plays a pivotal role in fundraising efforts, ensuring that our students have the best possible school experience through bi-annual country fairs, trivia nights, and raffles.
