For those who appreciate sustainable living and finding hidden treasures, the Trash to Treasure Fair is the place to be. Join us on Saturday 2 September 2023 from 9am to 1pm at the Buy Back Shop in Portsmith. Discover unique items and give them a new lease on life, all while supporting a greener and more sustainable community.
While we regret to inform you that the Cairns Festival Grand Parade will not be rescheduled this year, we are continuously working to bring you exciting events and experiences. Stay tuned for updates on future events that will undoubtedly captivate and entertain you.
In recognition of the late Stan Marsh's contributions to our community, Council is considering naming the pavilion in Norman Park, Gordonvale, in his honor. This gesture serves as a tribute to a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on our institution and the community as a whole.

"Lots of good play things. Great view of the rain forest hills. Native birds to see at times. Don't drink from the water fountain. Birds sit on the guard and their droppings fall on the drinking outlet. Bad design."
