Welcome to Kylie's Swim School Garbutt! Located on Woolcock Street in Garbutt, Australia, our swim school is a premier establishment and point of interest for all swimming enthusiasts.

Founder Kylie's passion for swimming developed during her childhood in Camden, New South Wales, where she spent many family holidays in Sussex Inlet, enjoying the water through swimming, boating, and canoeing. After completing her studies in 1999, Kylie embarked on a transformative journey in the United States, working at a summer camp and discovering her love for teaching others how to enjoy the water.

Upon returning to Australia, Kylie joined her local swim school, quickly rising through the ranks in management and swim teaching. Her exceptional skills and dedication led her to become part of the management team for Paul Sadler Swimland in Victoria by 2003. She was then chosen to oversee the company's inaugural venture in Townsville, where she successfully grew the school to accommodate 1300 children and received numerous accolades for her outstanding contributions.

Life's unpredictable twists took Kylie and her partner, Mitch, to Sydney and Western Australia for a brief period between 2011 and 2016. However, they eventually returned to Townsville and opened Little Snappers Swim School in 2017. The school flourished under their guidance, attracting record numbers of children within just seven months. Despite facing challenges such as floods and a pandemic, Kylie's Swim School was recognized as 'Townsville's Best Swim School' in 2020.

In 2021, Kylie decided to put her own name on the wall, reflecting her values and philosophy of creating confident and safe swimmers. She purchased the Little Snappers Riverway business and transformed it into Kylie's Swim School in August 2021.

At Kylie's Swim School Garbutt, we offer classes for all ages and abilities. Our experienced team will help you find the perfect class for your family. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your swimming skills, we have you covered.

You can find us at both our Riverway and Garbutt locations. Our Riverway facility operates from Monday to Friday, with extended hours on Thursdays and Saturdays. The Garbutt location, situated at 389 Woolcock Street, is open from Monday to Friday, with reduced hours on Fridays. Please check our website or contact our team for specific class schedules.
