Welcome to Cairns GP Medical Centre, a locally owned and managed practice conveniently located on Sheridan Street in Cairns City. We are open six days a week to provide exceptional healthcare services to our community. Established in 2017, our practice has grown significantly over the years, boasting a team of dedicated doctors, nurses, and receptionists who are committed to meeting all your healthcare needs.
At Cairns GP, we are passionate about delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. We offer a comprehensive range of health services, ensuring that you receive the best possible treatment and support. Our practice hours are as follows: Monday to Thursday from 07:30 am to 04:00 pm, Friday from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, and Sunday from 08:00 am to 02:30 pm. We are closed on Saturdays.

Please note that our practice is not equipped to handle suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, we kindly request that you contact us on (07) 4031 7968 before visiting the practice. Patients with flu-like symptoms but a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) will be required to undergo a negative polymerase chain reaction test (PCR) before attending an appointment.

Doctor Lukas Mar doesn't listen and it doesn't seen he wants to help either. If you want someone to listen to your story and help you on your way don't come here."
"Do not recommend Dr. Ubaida unless you want to waste your time and never be seen. Booked in for 9.40am on a public holiday, my one day off, there was only 1 other person in the upstairs waiting area when we got there, she called them in and saw us waiting. Then 2 other people arrived in the waiting area, did we get called next? Nooooo one of the others did, then another 2 joined the waiting area, and again instead of calling us she called someone else that had come up after us, each time Dr. Ubaida was staring at us knowing we'd been waiting. At this point I'd been waiting with my 1yr old son for over 40mins who was now getting angsty and unhappy. I was forced to leave without being seen, and had to rebook with a different doctor later in the week for my urgent medical problem. This in unacceptable."
