"Good hotel with pool. Far enough away from the centre of town which was loud but close enough to walk. Rooms neat and tidy. Not much noise insulation between floors and rooms and despite notices about keeping "quiet time" between 10pm and 8am some guests were very noisy but, other than that, quite nice 2 night stay. Useful having no parking restrictions in road outside"
"Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Comfortable room, clean and well serviced. Breakfast is available plus nice pool and BBQ area . Located not far from the city centre. Good price, under $200.00 a night. Limited parking available but plenty of street parking."
"Basic clean rooms. No lifts to higher floors but we were able to be accommodated on the ground floor. Good for a weekend away at the beach. I was travelling for work and it did not really suit my needs. Some noise and bright lights - curtains not sufficient to block this. Staff were lovely"
"Listed as a 3 star but I couldn't see it. Pros: Rooms were clean and tidy Beds were comfortable. WiFi was reliable. Cons: Barely able to get a "Hello" from front desk staff. Only 5 on-site parking spots. No elevator so you're on you own carrying luggage upstairs. Tiles in bathroom and especially shower had a slippery feel to them. Lock on sliding balcony door did not lock without some force being applied. No SMOKE DETECTOR in the room. And did not observe any in the building. Television free to air only but doesn't display HD channels so not a lot of choice. I certainly regret not looking closer prior to making my booking."
"Located a 10 minute walk from the shops and restaurants of the esplanade, 15 mins from the harbour. Rooms are modern and very clean. Staff are friendly. They weren't doing breakfast when we stayed - not in season, I think - but they do it at other times; we had complementary coffee/tea though."
