"The Gentleman cooking is lovely however the food is terrible. All fried frozen “no name” food. Lady at bar was rude. Overpriced. Sad because there’s no options for food in the area."

"Easy to find right on Bruce Hwy. Great for a ride out of town or stop in on your way home after a day's ride for a feed and cold bevvy. It is a regular stop for many bike riders. While the front seating area has a stage for local bands it is always hot and uncomfortable. Though the back area usually has a nice breeze and is more pleasant to sit and if the band is playing at least you can choose where to sit and still be able to hold a conversation. The food is good when the bar staff don't forget to send your order through to the kitchen. We waited 30 mins before checking where our meal was. Kitchen staff wanted to argue that it wasn't their fault. All we wanted was our food. We didn't blame anyone but after kitchen staff insisted on showing the time the order reached the kitchen it was obvious bar staff forgot to ring it thru at time of order. No one's perfect so we will return to see if they improve."

"What was a great pub with atmosphere it has declined to nothing short of a dive. Grass around pub was high and needed mowing. Not alot of people for a Sunday session. Don't recommend to visit"

"Ok pub, expensive meals and bar staff was a bit slow on the day we visited. Couldn't play one of the pokies as a staff member had money sitting in it while serving. Memorabilia is interesting."
