Reviews
"A nice small Australian animal sanctuary. Well priced. There are lots of koalas and wallabies. You can pat and feed the wallabies for free. A visit takes about 40 minutes. You have to walk through some market stalls to reach the entrance. There is a playground next to where there is parking, with public toilets nearby."
"Nice place to get your Koala picture. Place is rather small. Staying in Cairns, it’s better to visit the zoom too close to Cairns casino."
"Nice place with a good mix of animals who appear to be well cared for. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Holding a Koala (Milky) was a highlight. We spent time with each of the animals and were finished in about 40 mins, this did not include holding the Koala which took about the same amount of time."
"Wonderful albeit small but perfectly formed to enable us to see everything and as closely as possible. Highlight was def koalas. Allowed within 2 metres of them. Absolutely adorable and they seemed at ease"
"This is one of the best things to see & do in Kuranda. Fantastic selection of local wildlife as well as crocodiles, snakes, the wombat & of course the koalas. For a small extra fee you can have a photo cuddling a koala. Feed the beautiful little Melamines and Wallabies as you sit amongst them hopping around the garden. Hold one of the biggest pythons you could imagine and check out the crocodile feeding time. Absolutely wonderful & well worth every cent."
