"While I have great respect for the talent of the performers - Crystal was very underwhelming. The storyline was basic and somewhat lacking. The fill ins were long and lacking any talented skill set or entertainment value. The whole show resonated like a high school performance with a handful of skilled acts. Unfortunately while the skilled acts were taking place the rest of the crew either stood around acting as though watching (like they were in awe) or all completed a arms only dance routine. The wow factor was missing. The busy talent happening everywhere was missing. At one point someone walked out with a large hoop and I thought here we go - but he spun it once on the ground and walked off. We nearly left after the first half but stayed. Luckily the second half was a bit better. I have followed CDS for many years and took my daughter this time for her to experience the famous jaw dropping talent and performance - I apologised to her at the end, as it was a let down. You could see on most people’s faces as we all left how deflated they all looked. So, my hat goes off to those with their talents and advanced skills but the show was a disappointment"
