Conveniently located near the Kuranda Scenic Railway Freshwater Station, our centre offers a courtesy bus service to pick up children from the surrounding areas. We are open from 6:30am to 6:30pm, providing care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

As soon as you step through our doors, you will be greeted by a vibrant and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn and explore. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature sandpits, natural gardens, vegetable gardens, cubby houses, climbing forts, and play equipment that engage all the senses. Here, children have the time and space to play and discover, developing strength, balance, and self-confidence. We believe that being outdoors supports children's overall health and wellbeing.

Inside our centre, children are provided with quality resources and learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children's interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in these experiences, allowing children to engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.

Our in-house cook prepares nutritious meals daily, using the freshest ingredients and catering to all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships and provide opportunities for storytelling and modeling healthy eating practices.

Our centre offers flexibility with eight rooms and smaller classrooms, allowing for more immediate and personalized learning experiences. We are proud of our multicultural team, who bring their own cultures into the centre through bilingual storytelling, singing, weekly Japanese classes for all age groups, and the incorporation of yoga, meditation, and AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language) into daily routines.

We believe in the importance of connecting with the local community, and regularly venture out on excursions to nearby parks, libraries, and schools. We also welcome special guests and community members based on the children's interests, fostering a sense of community and cultural diversity. Additionally, we support local charities, including the Cancer Council's Relay for Life and Christmas hampers for the pediatric ward at the local hospital.
