Please note that our GPs operate on a Mixed Billing system, and a fee is payable on the day for most consultations, including telehealth appointments. We also encourage the use of masks within our practice, and if you have cold or flu symptoms, we recommend booking a telehealth appointment.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Paul Phibbs, with a special interest in family medicine and skin cancer diagnosis and excisions, is a part of our team. Additionally, Dr. Jiang has recently joined the SmartClinics Smithfield family, further expanding our expertise and capabilities.

For your convenience, rebates can be claimed immediately through our online link with Medicare, with refunds directly deposited into your bank account. We continue to bulk bill all Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Excisions, and Childhood Immunizations. DVA Gold and White card appointments will be billed directly to DVA.

To ensure that you receive the best possible care, we recommend booking appointments with your regular GP at our clinic for any ongoing medical conditions. This allows your treating GP to have a comprehensive understanding of your medical history and provide tailored assistance.

Please be aware that a $35 cancellation fee may be charged for missed appointments without prior notice. We also offer SMS reminders to help you stay informed about your upcoming appointments.

Our commitment to patient care extends beyond the walls of our clinic. In emergencies outside of our opening hours, please call 000. For non-urgent matters, you can reach House Call Doctor on 13 55 66.

If you require the transfer of your medical records to another doctor, we will provide a summary of your record upon receiving written authorization from you and the new doctor. We hold the original records for medico-legal reasons, and a fee may be charged to cover printing, postage, and checking of the records.
