"Got my Open Water Diver certificate with them, such a great experience! Gemma, the instructor, and Jack were amazing. They are a professional and friendly team, making the course really easy to follow and enjoy. You could tell they are passionate about their job. Would recommend 100%!"
"Had a glitch with these guys unfortunately. They said they had two spots free on their OWD course for my kids. I offered credit card details to hold the spots, kids were excited. Went to pay the invoice when email received from shop and they advised they sold my spots to someone else. Seemed quite unprofessional for a big brand dive group so we went to the competition. We preferred the other dive shop, super chilled and friendly service."
"Recently, I have completed my SSI Advanced Adventurer diving course with pro dive Magnetic Island. All of they staff members, I had interactions with are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Gemma in the shop, gave us fantastic advice about the course, and also Diving and snorkelling around Magnetic Island. During my course, my Diving instructor Brendan, and his associates Sammie and Jenna was friendly but also professional. I was amazed how much knowledge they have. They also worked extremely hard to make my course very enjoyable. Big thank you for all of them! I highly recommend Pro Dive and their services for everyone!"
"We have had a good experience with this dive centre. Used it for our one day dive trip to Museum of Underwater Art at GBR. The diving museum is small and will take you no longer then 10-15 minutes but the John Brewer Reef is next to it and you will end up diving there for your two dives. We also hired some stinger suits there to do some snorkelling around Magnetic Island. Overall we had a good experience and a good day of diving. The crew was professional and looked after us well. We had two dive masters with us on the dive. The great weather helped a lot as you need to be aware that the trip is at least two hours one way on a boat. There is enough space on it and it has got a marine toilet which helps a lot. I can imagine however that in more rough conditions that trip can be uncomfortable. Overall, I would recommend it to do that trip once you are on the island itself, not worth going specifically for it, but if you are there then it can be a great day out. If you can combine it with Yongala wreck then it would be even better experience"
"I was a little nervous for my first open ocean dive but my fears quickly dissolved when I met Jo and Nick. Their friendly demeanor and their top-quality equipment left nothing to be nervous about. They're professionals and take diving safety seriously and they are a TON of fun to hang out with! From Magnetic Island it took close to an hour by boat to arrive at the reef. The ocean was gorgeous and I'm wising I could take that boat ride every day! We dove on a day with one meter swells and to my surprise, the boat ride didn't make me feel seasick at all. I think that's because their boat is the perfect size for dive groups and they navigated very skillfully through the waves. The dives were unbelievably amazing, they brought us to a hidden part of the reef that doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic and as a result, everything was lush and the colors were beyond gorgeous. Right away in our first dive, we saw white tip reef sharks right away in our dive which is rare. The rest of the day was like a dream, Jo and Nick tailored the route we took based on our experience level and comfort in the water. They even treated us with warm tea, cheese, crackers and other snacks on the boat between dives. What an unbelievable day, I'm so glad we booked with Pro Dive!!"
