"Raintrees is in the process of getting a new bigger Woolworths which will make it a lot better shopping experience. The centre has a post office, and plenty of pleasant places to meet for a coffee or meal. A great place to go if you have to shop and are in a hurry. Library, hair dresser, massage, news agent these are just a few of the places available to enjoy."
"wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you had to. Only a few staff members are capable of customer service.. they target indigenous people and people who don’t dress flash.. would be nice if they watched everyone equally instead of profiling a particular group of people based on their appearance… not a very welcoming environment.. It’s inconvenient for me to travel to the other Woolworths in cairns but I do rather Woolworths at earlville Stockland or cairns central.. it’s actually nice to shop there and they have customer service skills would recommend going there.. rather than here."
"There's a lot of work going on upgrading Raintrees. I was surprised to see another tobacconist open only 25 metres from the existing store. I'm looking forward to the end results of the upgrade."
"Is it just me or are the security trained just to target the minority? Since the security have been there I feel uncomfortable shopping here. Even though they're standing out in front where the checkout is, they're still following customers/ myself down each aisle until checkout and try to act intimidating when I'm clearly scanning items for purchase. The other day I saw a lady comfortable and casually eating a hand full of snow peas while she shopped... Meanwhile here I am getting followed for just wanting to BUY groceries! Do better!"
"A good family shopping centre with a variety of specialty stores, Pathology, Medical Centre, Post Office and food court. I've done my shopping here for many years. New Woolies being built so front and side car parking a bit difficult at present. Largest carpark at rear of centre is very ♿️ friendly. There are several wheelchair carparks closest to the entry. There are now trolley return bays installed at the cetre of each line of parking bays. Unfortunately, unlike the really good roof that used to be there, you now get soaked when it's raining. This is the tropics, why would you remove a great metal cover to replace it with cover that only covers the car spaces and not where you have to walk between them to get into the shopping center when it's pouring rain. It might look good but the old roof was far better. I'm back shopping there dry weather only."
