"Previously had a service conducted on my car for an oil change and had listed a few errors to check over whilst servicing my car. I had asked the mechanic to check my spark plugs as my car wasn’t running smoothly and this had happened previously so I knew what was wrong. They assured me they weren’t an issue. 1000km later my car was still doing the same thing. I called and let them know I had asked previously in my service for them to check the spark plugs and they needed to be changed. They said no worries and would get another mechanic out to fix it. The mechanic was amazing and fixed the problem. I knew I would be charged the spark plugs but was unaware of another labour fee as I assumed talking to them on the phone it was in good faith due to their negligence the service done 1000km before. Phoned the office and was talked to rudely saying “of course I would have to pay the labour” and I asked why I wasn’t quoted he continuously made excuses didn’t offer any apologies for the poor communication on their mistake of not fixing this the first time around and tried to upsell me premium spark plugs after making me pay an extra labour fee for their mistake. I explained a heads up on the extra labour fee would have been good and he laughed at me. Absolutely terrible customer service from the office and business side. WOULD NOT recommend female customers at all! and would ask for quotes on EVERYTHING! Reply: Yes I did tell you I was unhappy which is why I called to book the second appt that was the fault I had asked them to check from the get go. No I did not ask for it to be free, I knew I would have to pay for parts but assumed out of good faith and your previous error check you were sending the mechanic out to fix what the other had not. I run a business, I know how business works. Do not discard customers concerns and feedback because you can’t rectify errors on an overpriced service."

"The service provided was accurate, professional and polite. I will be using Townsville Mobile Mechanic again and would highly recommend them to anyone who want their vehicle to be serviced well. The advantage of having it done at your home is just brilliant. "Edit: wrote this review before actually using the vehicle. I was happy with the customer service in terms of prompt attention etc (see below), and wanted to leave a nice review as they had made a donation to my friend's fundraiser. However, I have not been able to use my vehicle for over six months due to incorrect installation of oil filter, causing major oil leak and further engine damage. Merchant unwilling to accept any liability or cooperate. Currently pursuing reparations through QCAT. (Original review: Had my Ford Ranger serviced by this team today. Extremely prompt, courteous, friendly, professional service, from the people answering the phones to the ones changing the oil. Highly recommend! Thanks guys.)"
