Welcome to Beenleigh Montessori Early Learning Centre, conveniently located on Phillip Street in Beenleigh, Australia. As a family-owned and operated institution for the past 25 years, we have recently undergone an exciting transformation to incorporate the Montessori Philosophy and Education approach, under the guidance of one of Australia's foremost Montessori teachers.

At Beenleigh Montessori Early Learning Centre, we provide a nurturing learning environment that promotes independence and freedom through purposeful materials. Our dedicated educators serve as Guides and Peacekeepers, fostering a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for children aged 15 months to 5 years. Additionally, we offer before and after school care, as well as vacation care for school-age children.

Our long day care services are available Monday to Friday from 6.15am to 6.15pm, and we operate year-round, except on public holidays. We understand the importance of early childhood development and strive to create a Montessori framework that cultivates confidence and independence in each child. Our carefully curated learning environment is filled with purposeful materials that are enjoyable, thoughtful, challenging, and rewarding.

We follow a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses five key areas: Sensorial, Practical Life, Language, Culture, and Mathematics. Through these curriculum areas, we introduce fundamental learning concepts to children under six years of age. Our holistic program aligns with the National Quality Standards and our Philosophy for Montessori, ensuring a high-quality education for your child.

To keep parents and family members involved in their child's learning journey, we utilize the online platform Storypark to document and share your child's progress. We value your feedback and input, as we believe that you are key to supporting your child's success while in our care.

Each of our rooms is designed with a specific purpose in mind. The Echidna room is a nurturing space for our youngest children, fostering independence through smaller tables, chairs, and shelving. They enjoy both indoor and outdoor play, with their own outdoor space where they can grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

In our mixed-age Kookaburra room, younger children have the opportunity to learn from their older classmates. They enjoy a large outdoor playscape and participate in various excursions, including swimming lessons, library visits, and activities with the local school. Our Kindergarten program is also held in this room for four-year-olds.

The Koala room is used for before and after school care, as well as vacation care. It features an interactive whiteboard and a dedicated yard with a half basketball court to keep energetic children entertained. This room offers a mix of Montessori and play-based learning.

We offer a discount for children who attend the centre five days a week, and there is no minimum number of required days per week. However, we highly recommend frequent exposure to high-quality childcare, as it provides structure, routine, and a sense of security for your child.

Enrolling your child at Beenleigh Montessori Early Learning Centre is hassle-free, as we do not charge any enrolment or waitlist fees. Prior to your child's first day, we require two weeks' worth of fees to be paid. Afterward, fees must be paid either weekly or fortnightly in advance.

Our mixed-age classrooms promote social cohesion among the children. Younger children look up to their older classmates as mentors and role models, while older children take on leadership roles and assist their younger peers. Within a three-year period, children experience the complete cycle of social living within the group. Rest assured, we adhere to the departmental regulations regarding educator-to-child ratio requirements.
