About Day One Early Learning Centre - Eagleby Campus
Welcome to Day One Early Learning Centre - Eagleby Campus! Located at Fryar Road, 209 in Eagleby, Australia, our establishment is a point of interest that offers more than just great early education and care at affordable rates. As a family-owned and operated boutique early learning centre, we strive to create a close-knit community where you and your child feel like a part of our Day One family from the very beginning.
Our passion lies in providing your child with the tools they need to be successful in all aspects of their lives. We achieve this by combining a strong curriculum with a safe and stimulating environment, creating meaningful experiences for your child every day. Our Day One "World Explorers" program offers safe and rewarding excursions to all age groups, ensuring that your child has the opportunity to explore the world around them.
When you choose Day One, you can have confidence in our experience, quality educators, and first-class curriculum. Each of our centres is unique, but they all quickly become your child's home-away-from-home. We understand that children learn best in a space where they feel happy and safe, which is why our learning environments are designed to spark curiosity and confidence. With highly engaging spaces to learn, explore, and unwind, your child will feel inspired to grow and thrive.
Preparing your child for a successful transition to school is our great privilege. Our Kindergarten Program includes informative Parent Evenings, recognizing that this transition is also a big step for parents. We aim to create a calm, confident, and curious learner who is ready to take on the challenges of school and beyond.
At each Day One centre, you will find large, shaded outdoor playscapes that have been custom-designed with input from our children and families. These spaces provide highly engaging areas for daily adventures, including sand and water play zones, bike tracks, climbing equipment, interactive garden beds, cozy reading spaces, and plenty of room for exploration.
We have developed a range of bespoke educational programs, known as the DO Programs, to prepare children for life beyond Day One. These programs are incorporated into your child's daily routine and are guided by their own interests. From social and health skills to language development and creative expression, our DO Programs cover a wide range of areas to support your child's holistic development.
Engaging with our local community is a vital part of our approach. Day One World Explorers are often seen out and about, exploring the community and environment in which we live. We encourage parents to participate in these excursions whenever possible, as they provide real-life experiences that cannot be replicated in our centres or at home. By fostering authentic relationships with the outer world, we help children develop a sense of belonging and security and understand shared values and how society works.
Rest assured that all our centres meet the Educator to child ratios required by the National Quality Framework. This ensures that your children are supervised to a high standard, receiving quality care and education.
If you have any questions about our campus, educators, or curriculum, we would love to answer them. Please give us a call to find out more. And if you're not quite ready for a tour, feel free to download our info brochure today. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to the Day One family!

Reviews of Day One Early Learning Centre - Eagleby Campus
"Wonderful staff members always looking after my son and taking care of him. I have alot of respect for the staff members who look after children and you get some ungrateful parents and children who kick and pit at the staff members I hate it when parents and children don't respect these educators and think that they are just babysitters they are much more than babysitters they are amazing people who have taught my son his abcs and learning to count"
"The educators are warm and friendly and always go out of their way to ensure my children are happy and engaged in fun and playful activities. The DO programs, particularly in the Kindergarten Room have set my children up for a smooth transition to school. We only left as we moved out of the area, but cannot recommend highly enough!"
"Honestly, the daycare started out great for us, as we have a son with special needs, we were promised the adequate care for him, however within a few weeks we noticed a massive change in our sons behaviour, he flat out refused to go to school, and when we asked why, he would tell us a certain child is being mean to him. We brought this up with the staff, to which the response was more about what our son did wrong, and not why he got upset, we got the impression he was not being as looked after as they initially promised. One day I walked in to find one of the staff grabbing my son by the arm very aggressively, and once she noticed me she apologised and went on to day she just had a rough day with him. Not long after that my son was expelled. Our experience was by far the worst we ever had, I was made out to be a liar, my partner was spoken to inappropriately l, and they completely let us down at such a vital time. I sincerely hope they don't repeat the horrible mistakes they made, we have followed the correct procedures post expulsion, just be careful. They are very unreliable."
"Day one is a very lovely place. It is so much better than mulberry bush i am happy they have changed the staff. They are always helpful and I am happy that my child is happy at this centre. I have always struggled in finding a great centre for my child and I'm happy to say if I needed to put my elder children in care I would fully trust this team. Thank you so much Day one staff and team managers"
"It isn't easy working full-time and sending my little girl to daycare, but having Mulberry bush Nurseries as the place she gos every day certainly sets my mind more at ease. All of the teachers and assistants are always so pleasant and upbeat, they create a really positive environment for the kids. The curriculum is very carefully considered and varies week to week. Our two and a half year old girl is always very excited to tell us what is new at school, and she is learning by leaps and bounds thanks to her awesome teachers! I really appreciate that everyone at Mullberry Bush Nurseries keeps us in the loop about their goals and plans for the kids. I always feel very comfortable talking to them about anything that comes to mind, and they are attentive to our feedback as well."
