"Park used to be nice when there was a playground for the kids. Was here a few months ago and coming today, we don’t see a difference. Grass is almost to the knee, gazebo area dirty… only good thing is the toilets are very nice and decent. How long does it take to build a play area? Very disappointed, this is a great park as it’s right beside the river."
"Toilet Recommended highly by our tour guide Matt, no light, had to hold tap down to use, needs a clean, womens toilet was ok, mens was good, recommend to take out urine bottle"
"Good picnic tables and shade, great views and river access, children's playground. New public amenities."
"Yeah so Christmas day in Emery park. The "natives" were not friendly. Despite complaints about the setup of a volleyball net uncomfortably close to picnic tables. A large group of extremely rude late arrivals successfully knocked food and drinks of our Christmas lunch table over and over again. They may have deserved a little understanding due to the fact they possibly didnt understand our complaints. English obviously wasnt their best language and niether were their manners. So at the risk of sounding like a spoilt sport. Perhaps the local council might consider for the comfort of all, due to the compactness of the area, initiate fines for ball sports. There is a place just opposite the park called 7 mile beach. And the council wouldnt have to tend to the turf that was destroyed by the huge feet that ripped it to shreds either. So the park itself has good amenities when they are used correctly and not at the inconvenience of others. I hope anyone who reads this will reconnoiter the area prior to use. It is disheartening to have a volley ball knock a beer over and saturate an 84 year old man just attempting to enjoy a day with his family. It is a real shame aerogard only works on flies."
"Awesome just awesome stuff"
