We believe in transparent pricing and want to inform our patients that as of July 1st, 2021, all patients, regardless of age or pension status, will be charged the standard private fee on the day of their consultation. We value your understanding and continued support.

For your convenience, we offer after-hours services. If you require medical attention outside of our regular operating hours, simply dial 1300 HOME GP or 8724 6300, and you will have access to a doctor. This service is fully covered by Medicare and is provided by an external medical company.

Please note that starting from July 1st, 2023, our consultation fees have increased, along with the MBS rebate. We kindly request you to refer to our updated list of fees on our website or the hard copy available at our reception. Thank you for your cooperation.

To accommodate our patients' busy schedules, we are now open on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please book your appointment in advance either online or by calling our practice at 9525 6666. Kindly note that all appointments on Saturdays will be billed at the full private fee rate.

At Dr Malcolm Mitchell, we prioritize the health and well-being of our patients. We offer skin checks to ensure early detection of any potential issues. To schedule a skin check, please speak to our receptionist, who will be happy to assist you in making an appointment.

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented certain safety measures. If you have had Covid-19 in the past 14 days or are experiencing cold-like symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, or cough, we kindly request that you do not enter the practice. Instead, please book a telehealth appointment online or call our reception for further guidance. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community and staff safe.

For those aged over 65 years or with chronic conditions, we offer the 2023 Winter Flu Vaccine. To receive your flu vaccine, please call our practice or book online.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that we have resumed administering Covid-19 boosters since March 2023. To schedule your Covid-19 booster appointment, please call our practice or book online.

While masks are no longer required in our waiting room, we recommend checking with our reception if your GP prefers patients to wear masks before entering the consultation room. We are happy to provide masks upon request.
