"At 38 I had a hip replacement done by Dr Michael Dixon and I wish I hadn't put it off for so long. Honestly its been 6 weeks and I'm back to my old self just with no pain and better mobility. Dr Dixion has completely changed my life. Throughout the entire procedure he would answer any questions or concerns I had before or after surgery. I was standing 8 hours post-op and walking on crutches the next day. If you're putting off surgery don't! call Dr Dixion and get it sorted asap. You'll be glad you did!"

"On the 22nd June 2020 I was admitted into Kareena Hospital for Bi-Lateral (both) knees to be fully replaced, somewhat nervous after a barrage of friends kept telling me how much pain I am going to be in and I am stupid for doing two together. I selected Dr Dixon (Orthocentre) to do my surgery as he had previously done both of my wife's knees (separately) with great success (and is going to do her right hip on 14th August 2020 as well). My experience with Dr Dixon and the staff at Orthocentre from the first consultation right through to the 6 week post op visit has been outstanding. We discussed in detail the options of both knees or two singles and with his guidance and thoughts the decision to go with two was made easier. Come operation day Dr Dixon was a pleasure to see in the post op room and he gave me a good and detailed run down of what he was going to do for the next 4-5 hours on me and what to expect when I awake. Upon waking from the operation Dr Dixon was there and he told me everything went well and to procedure and I my have two new knees, he had also already personally called my wife to tell her that all was good. Well, from then on was the surprise to me, all this talk of pain was not happening to me, yes for the first few days I was on pain relief but after 4 days post op I was walking without crutches even. Just 5 nights in hospital and then home to recover. After 2 weeks, back twice a week to Kareena for the rehabilitation in the pool and gym for 9 sessions (I highly recommend these as a must do for knee patients) and that took me to my 6 week post op appointment with Dr Dixon He pleased me by saying that if I feel I can (which I do) I can now slowing start getting back into golf and as he said don't push it but go get back into it at my own pace. Its now 7 weeks since my surgery and I am driving as normal, walking up and down stairs and also back to out seeing my customers (albeit with a mask on). I can thoroughly recommend Dr Dixon to any perspective patient, he has done a wonderful job on me and he did it in a informative, compassionate and caring manner. Thanks again Doc Dixon and the team, looks like you've got me back running again, well not literally as I never run before but could now if I wanted to."
