"My only regret is I didn’t buy more records. There was a slight chaos to some of the crate digging but this only added to the mystery and excitement. There was no doubt I was going to find something I needed to purchase, and sure enough I discovered it. Adding the fact there was a tiki bar and space for live music this was a place I’ll return to. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable in the way you want record store staff to be. None of this overbearing and judgemental stuff you occasionally get. I was complimented on my choice of albums and had a good chat. I sat down afterwards and had a drink in the bar. It’s visually stunning and your eyes are drawn all around it as there is a vast array of trinkets and treasures. Records were playing on a turntable and there was a jukebox I have no doubt is in working order. My son was with me and was happy for once, not asking to leave a place right away. If you are in town, please pop in here. I know when I am back I will."
"Easter Saturday and there’s a ‘public holiday’ service charge on already pricey records .. and no word of it until I check my receipt. Ruined an otherwise cool store. No surcharge on coffee next door."
"Pretty disappointed with the experience on Saturday night. Was out with a group of people and got told we could go into the room next to us. We had a drink and midway through we got kicked out because a party had booked. We then stood at the end of the bard for 5-10 mins and got told they don't take orders here and had to go to the other end. We kept getting moved from 1 area to another. Probably won't be back. Spicy marg was ok that's why it's not 1 star."
"Loved the vibe here! My family and I were visiting from VIC, Canberra and Newcastle last weekend and we truly enjoyed their cocktails. Friendly staff too!"
"Worth visiting even if you’re not collecting vinyl. Great exterior and the inside is filled with all sorts of 60s and 70s features (check out the wall paper) and trinkets...and used vinyl records of course. A lot of rock and pop but you’ll find some reggae, hip hop, electronic and jazz as well. They run a bar as well and there is a cute little outside area out the back."
