Dr Brown's additional training included fellowship training for joint replacement surgery at one of the world's leading joint replacement centers in Exeter, UK. He also received training in the treatment and management of sports-related orthopaedic conditions at Salt Lake City's Orthopaedic Sports Hospital in the USA.

In 1996, Dr Brown returned to Australia and established a practice where he continues to provide specialist orthopaedic services, focusing on conditions affecting the knee and shoulder. For the convenience of his patients, consulting services are provided at Geelong Orthopaedics in Geelong, and surgical services are offered at St John of God Geelong Hospital and the Epworth Geelong Hospital.

Dr Brown is dedicated to achieving better patient outcomes and provides expert non-interventional and interventional treatment and care for joint replacement surgery of the knee and shoulder, as well as the management of soft tissue conditions and trauma and sporting injuries of the knee and shoulder.
