"Jim is a terrible man. We have paid the deposit and for shell, equipment, and install to him along with a number of other contractors along the way (all up just under $30k) he took our money in April 2021. We were left with a hole in the backyard from October 2021 which is constantly collapsing. We have now accepted he is not coming back and is just scamming and ripping off hard working families. Fair trading and the police don’t want to help as it is a civil matter. It really sucks when the true criminals are supported and the hardworking families are stolen from. Where is the help for the people?????"

"Paid Jim Thompson a deposit, the amount for a pool heater pump and the amount for the pool shell. He told us it would be installed in January this year. It kept getting pushed back which we understood and were fine with. We haven’t heard from him since August 2022. We are still waiting for our pool to be installed and he has a large amount of our money. We can’t get into contact with him via phone or email. We have since found out his name is James Thornton. He is obviously a scammer and has committed fraud."

"We never received out chlorinator. Piping leaked twice and third time hubby repaired himself and pool lights have also taken in water and don't work properly..Several phone calls and messages have been made. We gave up trying to get anything done by them at the start of the year."
