"I was a patient with you guys, I was seeing a podiatrist, American bloke I can't remeber his name. I had a large wart on my right hand, I had treatment 3 times and was initially pretty sceptical about the results. I saw little to no improvement initially, but i persisted with the treatment plan, took the zinc and vit C and filed it every day. Then about 3 weeks after my 3rd appointment (about 8 weeks since my first appointment) i started to notice a dramatic improvement. I have had this wart for 6 years have tried dry ice, multiple bottles of wart off and duofilm, even home remedies with noimprovement. I had been told by a GP to 'get used to it because there's nothing we can do'. It's been ages since I have seen the tissue on my hand unblemished and it no longer gets in the way when I work (as a nurse I always worried it would pose an infection risk with handwashing etc.). So 3 months down the track I'm wart free. I wanted to follow up with an after pic and to close the loop with the clinician who saw me, just so to reinforce that the time to total resolution can be months, but it would appear that my trestment plan was a total success.
