"Great area for families. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. Though the waters are a bit rough, worry not because they do have lifeguards on duty. They have all facilities you may possibly need, and also a swimming pool if you want to have a swim but a little concerned of the rough waves."
"Beautiful spot, lovely and clean crystal clear water. Its a great day out. Suitable for families with young children as there is a fully fenced pool and play park equipment on site. Full showers and changing rooms are available. Recommend bringing an umbrella or beach tent, there isn't much shelter or shaded area's to keep yourself shaded for the sun when not swimming."
"This was on a 29 degree Saturday, it was perfect, not too many people at all. There were surfers on one side and people swimming between the flags on the other. There’s a cafe on the beach but I I didn’t eat there, I ate at South Sailor (close by) and I was very happy with the find! Delicious!! The beach is sandy but heading in for a swim was a little rocky."
"Gorgeous beach with lots of nearby shops, great cafe on the pavilion and a nice park for the kids on the beach. A really great place to take your family and the surf isn't too rough. Parking can get a little crazy but if you park and walk a few blocks you.should have no problems"
