Reviews
"I wish to say something about Derwent Vista. There are only six reviews and all were excellent except for two which were dreadful for the wrong reason. One booked for three but turned up with three cars full still expecting to pay for three. The other did not pay what they owed and trashed the place. Even left a candle alight after they left presumably to burn the place down. If you stay at one of our excellent properties we would appreciate honesty!"
"This is a fantastic location and a fabulous hone away from home for families. Beautiful river views, walks and water activities available. All the necessary white goods you need for a family. John is a friendly caring host. A super location to access great restaurants, places to explore and an easy drive into the city."
"This house is one of the best houses I have ever stayed in. Conveniently located close to the local shops, it is also an easy drive away from the CBD. It has a multi-millions dollar view - everyone will love it. Very spacious and well equipped, this house is prefect for family trips or friends weekend getaway. Everything is clean. The host is a helpful, friendly and patient person who will go above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable one."
"Great property! It was perfect and such beautiful views. John was a fantastic host as well communication was great and we managed to get out on the kayaks. If you want a great place to stay with and a host that you can message or call to give you great tips on things to do in the area this is for you. Would book again if I get back on Hobart. Thanks John"
"The state of the property on arrival was disgusting took several days to clean before could feel half decent in there and have Christmas there, the owner him self was a pest and obnoxious and disrespected our views and intelligence. I would never stay again and would advise anybody wanting to stay here to rethink as there is no reasoning with John him self he doesn’t take criticism and abusive when told about how unhappy we were. We have photos of mould in fridge and the state of oven that took several hours to clean very very disappointed considering the cost $6800 to stay for 1 month you would expect a 5 star Palace for that price but instead got a less than 1 star dive...."
